I'm amazed how great this series became, without metal diving scene. I originally thought that each stories will involve around metal diving, but for two whole episodes, there were no metal diving involved at all. To be honest, I enjoyed those two episodes a lot more than episode 3 and 4, so I got no complaints. But Haru is now less involved in each story. On the other hand, Minamo seems to be getting more screen time.
Both episode 5 and 6 deals with objects that are left behind from older generations. This time, it is about paper books. Title of this episode is "love letter". It reminded me of the famous Japanese movie "Love Letter" that I love (Coincidently, both movie and the episode have the same title) To make the long story short, I loved it. It used Haru's background really well, and I loved how story was set up. Dialogues were great, too. Last dialogue of Haru was just tantalizing.
We see how Minamo is getting a different homework since she didn't go through "dennou-kai". Minamo, get to experience things that those who already went through "dennou-kai" cannot. On top of that, she is exceptionally good at communicating with the nature. This will definitely help Haru as a metal diver since this is something that Haru excelled at when he was younger. In that sense, Minamo has a good potential as Haru's "buddy" and Haru probably realized that.
*p.s1: Sota seems like he is jealous of the relationship between Haru and Minamo. I wonder if this will affect the overall story arc or is just a set up for another episodic story.
*p.s2: I really like this series. I think this series is the one that I anticipate the most each week.
