*ADDED: Gundam UC BD 56,000 copies sold in first week(but wasn't it released on 12th? I don't see how this is a first week record). Anyways, Gundam sets a new record('This is it' is still no.1 though). And Eva will set a new record on May(It's not even a prediction. It's more like a confirmed fact;;;)
- About GOSICK anime adaption, original novel is a mystery novel, BUT, I think the main attraction of the series is not the mystery itself, but main heroine Victorica, and perhaps the relationship between her and Kazuya. Classic Victorian England atmosphere is important as well. This means visual will be the key to success, and to faithfully adapt Victorica's gothic taste in clothing will be quite a challenge for animators.
So to do it right, they need to either 1) leave it to high profile production company with generous budget, or 2) adapt it as a movie. Now, movie format is limited by a short running time, and because of the nature of the story, that won't really work. So a TV series... but who's up for the challenge? Apparently, there was a rumor that Kyoto Animation is behind the production of GOSICK anime(before anime adaption was confirmed), and I hope this is the case.
*p.s1: I think I mentioned this before, but I wish they at least list the production company when they announce the anime adaption officially.
*p.s2: To tell you the truth, I don't expect much from this anime adaption. When I was reading the novel, I thought "Anime adaption of this novel would be a too difficult".
- Sora no Otoshimono season 2 confirmed. No surprise there. Perhaps they are using that "episode 14" as episode 1 of season 2?
