I think this episode was one of the best so far. Both pacing and the plot twist were handled very well. First of all, I was quite fond of the BGM they used for Lin vs. Gluttony ~ Lan's arm trick revealation part. It created a little different atmosphere and tension than usual with the use of different tune for a change. Combination of the BGM and quick paced footsteps by King Bradley made the trick much more exciting that I expected.
Another thing I enjoyed was May's entry scene. "Bean sprout" comment was golden but the following "servant" thing was even better. Her unique way of using alchemy was well done, too. Watching her quick judgement to retreat, I couldn't help but wonder about her age and what she had gone through. Then again, most of the characters in FMA including Ed and Al are way too mature for their age.
So, overall, I was very pleased with the episode, but I thought Winry's realization of her feelings towards Edward was a little too plain. I guess they were trying to indicate the long and deep relationship they've been having, but, come on... Not even a little blush?
