;;; uh... most of the episode was BGM + past of Haru without any dialogues. They just go through the childhood memories to teaming up with Kushima. There's no real story here, other than how Haru's family was forced to move to seaside town because of industrialization.

At the end of the episode, Haru asks if they can have another "date" some other time, and Minamo "BLUSHES" and says yes. -_-;;; I mean... uh... seriously? Oh, please don't go to loli X grandpa. That's just...wrong...

;;; 음... 이번화는 대부분이 BGM + 대사없이 하루의 과거를 나열한 것 뿐이더군요. 어렸을때의 기억부터 쿠시마와의 만남까지 쭉 지나갑니다. 하루가 도시화 때문에 바다가 있는 시골로 강제로 이사를 하게된 것 빼고는 특별히 스토리도 없군요.

마지막에 하루가 언제 다시 "데이트" 해 주겠냐고 묻는데, 미나모는 "얼굴을 붉히며" 그러자고 대답하는군요. -_-;; 아니... 흠... 진짜로? 제발 로리 X 할아버지 는 피해줬으면 합니다. 그건... 좀 아니지 않나?

Blind beauty eh? Another decent episode. Quite an interesting point of view. I never thought getting the sight back would work negatively, but I guess it is possible that one might feel the loss of so called "heightened  sense". Overall, nice story but I wasn't really sure what Amy wanted to see in the end. She moves to her parent's place saying that she wants to see "that light" again, but I'm not sure what she meant by that. Does she mean she wants to get back what she has lost? But I don't see the reason for moving then. ~_~

Watching this episode, I also felt that for some of RD episode, the way Haru solves problem is rather vague. He just swims and find something weird and grab onto it. Like... what did that solve? He didn't even talked her out of it. Because the concept of "metal" is so vague, the way they solve mysteries or problems are also vague. I think they need to specify more.

Another thing I noticed was that Haru wasn't his usual self this time around. I think this is the continuation of the conversation between Haru and Kushima at the very end of last episode. He might be pushing himself to do what he can while he can Metal dive.

*p.s: They are zooming in on the book that Haru is reading quite frequently, but not sure what this book is supposed to be. They even do so in the preview, so I'm sure it has some meaning...

장님 미인이라... 이번화도 재밌었네요. 상당히 유니크한 시점이랄까요? 사실 시력을 되찾는게 나쁠수도 있다고는 생각해본적이 없어서요. 하지만 확실히 이렇게 높아진 오감(시력이 없으니 오감은 아니려나 ^^)을 잃는것을 아쉬워할 수도 있겠다는 생각이 듭니다. 전체적으로 괜찮은 스토리 같습니다만, 마지막에 에이미가 보고싶어했던 것은 무엇인지 잘 모르겠군요. 부모님이 있는 곳으로 돌아가면서 다시한번 그 "빛"을 보고 싶다고 합니다만, 무슨 뜻인지... 다시 잃어버린 것을 찾고 싶다는 것인가? 하지만 그렇다고 이사를 할 필요는 없을 것 같은데...~_~

이번화를 보면서 몇몇 RD 에피소드에서 하루가 문제를 해결하는 방식은 상당히 애매모호하다는 생각이 들더군요. 이번에도 수영하다 이상한것을 발견해서 잡은 것 뿐인데... 이게 도대체 뭘 해결한 거지? 특별히 이야기를 나누 것도 아니고. "메탈"이라는 컨셉자체가 상당히 애매모호한지라 문제의 해결방법도 상당히 애매하다는 생각이 드네요. 좀더 자세히 설명이 필요하다고 생각...

하루가 평소의 그가 아닌것도 느낄 수 있는데, 이건 저번화의 하루와 쿠시마의 대화가 이어지는게 아닌가 생각합니다. 메탈다이빙을 할 수 있을동안 할 수 있는만큼 하려고 무리를 하는 것이 아닌가 싶기도...

*p.s: 하루가 읽는 책에 자주 줌인을 하는데, 이게 뭔책인지는...프리뷰에서도 줌인을 하는 것으로 보아서는 뭔가 의미가 있는 것 같기도 한데요...

Not as good as pervious episodes, but not that bad either. I felt that Kushima was rather cold towards Ichinose, even considering the reason behind it. Just because he stopped playing music, doesn't mean he has to be cold to the person related to it. Actually, it is rather rude how Kushima declined the concert ticket every single time (and it seems like Ichinose gave him the ticket everytime he had a concert).

On the other hand, it shows how Kushima only opens up to the very limited people, including, Sota, Minamo, and Haru. It kind of contradict how much he cared for his worker (Sota's dad) in one of the previous episode. He basically shows no interest at all to others who are not related to his work. I guess it shows a different side of him.

There was a moment where Haru says that he doesn't have that much time left. I'm not sure what that means. As a diver, or as a human? Because he can live longer if he move on to another body like Kushima, right?

Anyways, this episode ends with a small concert at the sea with Kushima, Haru, and Minmo as guests. Real Drive always ends with a nice heart warming conclusion and I like they way the tide up the story. Probably the reason why I watch this series.

저번화들 보다는 별로였습니다만, 나쁘지는 않았던 에피소드였네요. 개인적으로 이유가 있더라도, 쿠시마가 좀 이치노세씨에게 차가웠다고 생각. 음악을 자신이 관뒀다고 해서 그것과 관련된 사람에게 차갑게 대할 필요는 없겠죠. 솔직히 콘서트 마다 쿠시마에게 티켓을 보낸 것 같은데, 그걸 모두 거절한것은 실례되는 일이 아닌가 싶기도 합니다.

이 에피소드를 보면 쿠시마가 한정된 사람들에게만 마음을 여는 것을 알수 있기도 합니다. (소타, 미나모, 하루) 저번에 소타의 아버지를 위해주는 장면을 생각하면 좀 상반되는 내용이기도 하네요. 직업과 관련되지 않은 사람에게는 전혀 관심을 보이지 않는다 인가? 그의 또다른 면을 볼 수 있었네요.

중간에 하루가 자신에게 그리 시간이 많이 남지 않았다는 말을 하는데, 이건 다이버로서의 이야기인지 인간으로서의 이야기인지를 잘 모르겠네요. 의체로 쿠시마처럼 옮겨타면 계속 살 수 있을 것 같은데...

어쨌든, 이번화는 쿠시마, 하루 미나모를 관중으로 바다에서 작을 콘서트를 하는 것으로 끝이 납니다.  RD는 꼭 이렇게 앤딩이 가슴이 따뜻해지는 이야기로 끝나서 좋은 것 같네요. 끝내는 방법도 언제나 마음에들고 스토리도 잘 끝맺음을 시켜주는 듯. 이래서 이 시리즈를 계속 본다니깐요...

Kind of similar to the episode about a ghost, but with more Haru X Minamo. Elaiza's words infer that Minamo might be thinking Haru as more than a "friend". It would be a bit disturbing if Haru X Minamo happens. I would want them to at least change Haru's body into that of his younger years (like Kushima) if they were going to do that. Seriously, can you imagine Haru with his grey hair making love with Minamo? That would be the most "ew" moment in anime.

About that astronaut suit Minamo had to wear to dive into Metal, I didn't get why she couldn't move freely inside Metal. It is hard to connect how the fact that she didn't digitalized his brain connects to inability to talk inside Metal since it is all about data transferring in digital world.

Anyways, no big revelation or out of ordinary story progress this time.(So I don't really have much to write this time ^^;;) Just some casual comedy and touching moments between grandpa and loli-girl. ^^;;  This moment where Minamo calling out Haru was more touching and convincing than the one from episode 4. I guess now that we know Haru and Minamo spent quite a bit of time together, it looks more natural that Haru and Minamo care for each other as much as they do inside the anime.

*p.s1: Sayaka probably asked Elaiza about Sota (who knows whatever kind of "good" dream she had ^^;;).
*p.s2: I wonder to what "kind" of things Sota lost his concentration on ;p If I think about it, Sota gets this role of "thinking something ecchi act" quite often in this series.

유령이 나왔던 에피소드와 비슷한 내용입니다만 하루X미나모 요소가 좀 첨가됐군요. 엘라이자의 말을 들어보면 미나모가 하루에게 "친구" 이상의 감정을 가지고 있는 것 같은 느낌인데... 만약 정말 하루X미나모가 되면 좀 거북할 듯. 정말로 그 노선으로 간다면 최소한 하루의 몸이라도 쿠시마처럼 젊었을때로 되돌려주기를 바랍니다. 진짜 하루가 저 하얀머리 한 채로 미나모와 사랑을 나누는 모습이 나오면 사상 최악의 거북한 장면이 탄생하겠죠.

미나모가 우주선 입고 메탈 다이빙을 하는 것 말입니다만, 메탈에서의 자유도가 떨어지는 부분은 좀 공감성이 떨어지더군요. 그녀가 전뇌화되지 않은 것과 말을 제대로 하지 못하는 것이 어떻게 연결이 되는지... 디지털 세계에서는 결국 정보의 전달만 되면 되는 것 아닌가?

어쨌든 이번화는 특별히 특이한 스토리 진행이나 사건전개가 없이 지나간 것 같네요.(그래서 그런지 그다지 쓸게 없네요 ^^;;) 담담한 코메디와 로리걸과 할아버지의 감동의 재회신이 있었을 뿐. ^^;; 이 장면은 4화에 비해서 훨씬 더 공감할 수 있었습니다. 아무래도 하루와 미나모가 상당한 시간을 같이 보냈다는 것을 시청자가 알고 있고 그것때문에 이만큼 하루와 미나모가 서로를 위해주는 것이 자연스럽게 보이는 것 같습니다.

*p.s1: 사야가는 분명 소타에 대한걸 엘라이자에게 물어봤겠죠 (도대체 어떤 "좋은꿈"을 꾸셨을까요~~ ^^;;)
*p.s2: 소타는 뭣땜시 집중력이 떨어졌을지... 후훗. 생각해보면 이 인간 이런역을 상당히 많이 맏게되는듯.

I'm really confused about the concept "Metal". They are keep trying to connect it to the "sea" but I just don't see how it connects. Up until now, I actually thought of it as some kind of advance technology network(like internet). The conversation among Haru, Mamoru, and Kushima, sounded too abstract. I just don't understand what happened here. Are they trying to imply that the nature itself(or sea) has tried to connect to the Metal? Haru said something something shook the whole Metal.... and we see that red thing  possibly similar to that from episode 1. So my guess is that this is technically the same phenomenon that happened in episode 1("chiku-ritsu"), but this time, inside Metal. So it could mean that Kushima has been able to replicate the sea itself...

About Mamoru, wow. This just brings me back to my economic class. Company like a family. lol. You see how loyal Mamoru is and his fellow co-workers? And the way he cries at the end of the episode ^^;;; This probably is an ideal company looks for Japanese workers who is about 50s~60s. To be honest, I was expecting some darker events this time around, like Mamoru getting unfair treatment and Sota vows for revenge against Kushima... Or we see the dark side of Kushima, or something along those lines. However, it ended up being a heart-warming drama. Seriouly, Kushima is too nice ^^

I guess one big revelation in this episode, was a relationship between Kushima's boss, or secretary general and Sota. I mentioned about this before in episode 3, how the guy slept with the secretary general looks like Sota. I thought it was one possibility and mentioned it, but was skeptical that that is the case. What do you know? 0_0;;; It actually WAS Sota!  That explains where the secretary general in that episode got the info about Haru from ^^ This kinda complicates things between Kushima and Sota (Sleeping with your boss complicates things even in real life ;p This will definitely complicate things in anime) I wonder if they are actually in love, or one of them is using the other (or both of them using each other;;; At least secretary general seems like she is satisfied with sex ;p) Her smile is so suspicious... Anyhow, secretary general is about the only one who is doing some proper service scene in this series. (Now that I think about it... it seems like she is about the same age as Kushima... ~_~ and it seems like Sota is in his 20s... uh....)

*p.s1: I think this is the series I'm enjoying the most this season. ~_~ kinda sad how this is the least popular series on my blog.
*p.s2: System down this episode reminded me a lot of Magi system down from Evangelion...
