[R1] Kaleido Star
BD/DVD Review/2000~2009 / 2008/07/24 02:18
This is the show where Junichi Sato's directing skill shines. Ending for this series was just jaw dropping. While it does have the usual corny anime moments, I really enjoyed watching this series. Lots of dynamic movements which I liked, though it was probably possible due to simple character design.
Package is really nice. I bought the thinpak sets. Space saving and nice looking and DIRT CHEAP. If you complain about the price for this series, then that just means you never had any intention to buy this series.
Video Qualtiy was okay, but had that green tint I see often from ADV titles. I'm not sure if this is the problem of the video source or encoding.
